Synopsis
The Best Movie 3-DE (2011) is a Russian comedy directed by Kirill Kuzin — watch it online on iFILM. Max Utesov (Garik Kharlamov) shoots films on a consumer camera and asks nothing from the world. Then he accidentally incinerates the only prints of seven landmark Russian films held in a vault for a national film competition.
Video pirates want him dead, and the only way out is to reshoot all seven from memory in a matter of days. The supporting cast includes Mikhail Efremov, Alexander Baluev and Alexander Semchev, all deployed in parody mode. The film's own joke is that Utesov's ramshackle remakes might turn out better than the originals — and Kharlamov's physical comedy is committed enough to almost make that land.
