Synopsis
The Long Recess (1973) is a beloved Soviet comedy series — watch online on iFILM, directed by Alexei Korenev. Nestor Severov, a young historian, fails his graduate school entrance exam and ends up teaching at a night school for working adults.
His class, 9A, is not what he expected. His students are factory workers, truck drivers, parents — some older than he is, most of them wondering why they are back at a school desk.
