The Crossing (Season 1)

The Crossing (2018) is an American sci-fi series from ABC that you can watch online on iFILM. The premise is immediate: hundreds of people wash up on a cold Oregon beach. They are refugees — but not from another country. They say they have come from the United States 250 years from now, fleeing a war that has already destroyed their world.

Sheriff Jep Moran, played by Steve Zahn, is first on the scene and has no idea what to do with any of it. Federal agents arrive fast and take control, but their interest in the refugees seems to run deeper than humanitarian response. Natalie Martinez plays one of the survivors — a mother searching for the daughter she lost during the crossing. Among the crowd are people with abilities that shouldn't exist yet.
