Ivan spends all day on royal duty with the Wolf — guarding borders, planning defenses, wishing the clock would run backward so he could fit in more hours. Vasilisa is bored, and in a fairy tale, boredom is never harmless. She decides to stage her own kidnapping to inject some romance back into their marriage. Nothing, of course, goes to plan. Directed by Vladimir Toropchin, with the original voice cast including Mikhail Boyarsky. Fast-paced, good-natured, and rated 0+ — a solid 80-minute pick for family viewing.
