Synopsis

Zheng Kaisi owes money he can't repay. His only out: a seat aboard the Archimedes, a rusted warship where debtors and swindlers play a brutal card game almost no one is designed to survive. Li Yifeng plays the desperate hero pushed to his limit; Michael Douglas is the icy architect running the whole operation. The film adapts the Chinese manga of the same name, itself drawn from Nobuyuki Fukumoto's Kaiji series.
