Synopsis
"Шальной отдел" (Shalnoу Otdel, 2025) is a Russian crime drama series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Andrei Golubev and Anatoly Semyonov. Operative Kirill Shalnoу — whose surname loosely translates as "the reckless one" — has spent years working up to deputy chief of a central district's criminal investigation unit.
One office party ends it all. His new boss starts openly pursuing Kirill's wife Elizaveta, a police investigator. Kirill punches him. The boss keeps his word and transfers Kirill to a rundown suburban precinct where nobody knows him and nobody is glad to see him arrive. Sergey Chachin leads the cast as Kirill; Evgeny Ryzhik, Artur Kharitonenko, and Polina Rusakova round out the ensemble.
