Synopsis
Yossi & Jagger (2002) is an Israeli military romance from director Eytan Fox, available to watch online on iFILM. At a snowbound outpost near the Lebanese border, two soldiers share a secret: reserved platoon commander Yossi and the lively, magnetic squad leader Lior, nicknamed Jagger. None of their unit suspects the men are in love.
The film runs barely 64 minutes and skips the usual combat spectacle — the war lives in the silences, the stolen looks, the fear of being found out. Jagger is months from finishing his service and wants their bond to become real instead of hiding in the corners of the barracks. Yossi hesitates. Ohad Knoller and Yehuda Levi play an intimacy that can never be spoken aloud, which makes every small gesture land twice as hard.
