Glass (2019) is M. Night Shyamalan's superhero thriller, and you can watch it online on iFILM. It closes the secret trilogy that began with Unbreakable and Split.

David Dunn, the security guard who simply cannot be hurt, hunts a kidnapper carrying twenty-four separate personalities through the streets of Philadelphia. Bruce Willis pulls the rain poncho back on; James McAvoy flips between characters mid-shot, sliding from a frightened child to the Beast without a cut. Both men get caught and locked inside a mental hospital, where Dr. Ellie Staple (Sarah Paulson) insists none of this is real power, only delusion. Down the corridor sits Elijah Price, the brittle-boned genius known as Mr. Glass, already three moves ahead.

Shyamalan welds three films into one universe and keeps it small and quiet, trading explosions for faces and silence. Samuel L. Jackson barely speaks for most of the runtime, saving everything for the moment he tips the board over. Anya Taylor-Joy returns as Casey, the one person who can reach Kevin.
