Synopsis
Phata Poster Nikhla Hero (2013) is a Bollywood action comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and starring Shahid Kapoor. Vishwas Rao wants to be a film star. His mother wants him to join the police force. Neither one is willing to move.
Fate settles the argument in the most inconvenient way: during a promotional photo shoot, Vishwas gets mistaken for a real police inspector and suddenly has to face an actual criminal gang with no backup. Ileana D'Cruz and Nargis Fakhri play opposite him; Salman Khan turns up in a cameo.
Santoshi, who directed the historical drama The Legend of Bhagat Singh, switches gears completely here — two and a half hours of mistaken-identity chaos, item numbers and action sequences played for laughs.
