Synopsis
Wild Horses (2015) is a slow-burn crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by and starring Robert Duvall. A Texas Ranger reopens the case of a boy who vanished fifteen years ago — and the trail points to a wealthy family's ranch.
Ranger Samantha Payne won't let the file stay closed. The old evidence hints at murder, but ranch owner Scott Briggs, played by Duvall himself, refuses to talk. Then his estranged son comes home out of nowhere, and Payne grows certain the Briggs clan is hiding something. She keeps pushing toward the truth even as it starts costing her safety. No one, the tagline promises, is above the law.
Duvall shot much of this on his own Texas spread, and it shows — the dust, the horses and the small-town quiet feel lived-in rather than staged.
