Synopsis
Love, Lies (2016) is a Korean historical drama you can watch online on iFILM. Set in 1944 Seoul under Japanese rule, the film follows So-yool and Yeon-hee — lifelong friends trained at the same kisaeng school — as both of them try to break into modern popular music. So-yool's fiancé Yoon-woo is a songwriter who quietly builds other women's careers. When he hears Yeon-hee sing, things shift fast. Yeon-hee doesn't chase what isn't hers. So-yool can see exactly what's happening and can't stop it.
