Synopsis
One Winter Weekend (2018) is a Canadian holiday TV movie you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Gary Yates, it plays the genre straight — a bruised heart, a mountain chalet, an accidental roommate who was not part of the plan.
Cara (Taylor Cole) writes about relationships for a women's magazine, which makes her New Year's Eve discovery — boyfriend kissing someone else — particularly ironic. She and her best friend book a ski getaway to reset. The chalet turns out to be double-booked with two strangers, including Ben (Jack Turner), an entrepreneur who has a way of being reasonable at exactly the wrong moments. A snowstorm settles the question of whether anyone's going anywhere.
