Synopsis
Watch Plebs Season 5 online on iFILM — eight new episodes of Rome's least successful social climbers, still at it in 2019. The Crown and Toga is still open. Everything else is still a mess.
The season opens with a wine-buying trip to Tuscany that predictably goes sideways. Back in Rome: gate-crashing a posh banquet leads to Grumio accidentally overhearing a poison plot; a brutal heatwave pushes Marcus into selling ice out of the bar; Grumio invents a hat-and-parasol hybrid and becomes briefly famous for it. An archaeological dig starts in the bar floor after Grumio finds an old brooch while sitting on the toilet. Then the landlord evicts them from their flat without notice, and Jason's brother Darius announces his wedding — which Marcus immediately wants to host at the Crown and Toga.

There's a heatwave in Rome and Marcus has invested in a new gimmick for the bar - ice. Plus, Grumio develops a hat-parasol hybrid, which attracts attention.

The boys attempt to infiltrate a local firm of chariot hooligans in order to get some big drinkers into their bar.

The boys begin an archaeological dig in their bar after Grumio unearths an old brooch whilst sitting on the loo.
S5·E7The New Flat
The boys face uncertainty when Landlord evicts them without notice from their flat. Marcus hopes his parents, who are visiting for the weekend, will help him onto the property ladder.
S5·E8The Wedding
Jason's brother Darius is getting married and Marcus desperately wants to hire out the Crown and Toga for the occasion, while Grumio offers his services as wedding planner.
