Directed by Yuichi Fukuda, the NTV drama adapts a manga that ran from 1988 to 1997 and became something of a genre institution in Japan. Kento Kaku and Kenta Ito play the two leads with a kind of relentless obliviousness that makes the comedy work; Kanna Hashimoto and Shun Oguri round out the cast.
