Sapphire Blue

Sapphire Blue (Saphirblau, 2014) is a German fantasy drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Felix Fuchssteiner and Katharina Schöde. Gwendolyn Shepherd — played by Maria Ehrich — has just learned she is the final member of a secret circle of twelve time travellers. She has to master period manners for court appearances, keep her double life hidden, and work out whether Gideon — Jannis Niewöhner reprising his role — is telling her the truth. A sardonic ghost named Xemerius tags along and lightens the more labyrinthine stretches of mythology. The central mystery this time circles around Gwen's grandfather Lucas and what the Circle was actually built to do.
