Synopsis
The Endless Night (Todo Dia a Mesma Noite, 2023) is a Brazilian Netflix miniseries you can watch online on iFILM. It grows out of a real tragedy — the night a fire tore through the Kiss nightclub in Santa Maria, killing 242 people, most of them students, in January 2013.
The show barely lingers on the blaze itself. Its focus is the parents left behind. They bury their children, then spend years walking in and out of courtrooms, fighting to have the guilty named out loud. Thelmo Fernandes, Bianca Byington and Leonardo Medeiros play exhausted people who were promised justice and kept waiting for it. Five episodes, five stages of that fight.
