Synopsis
The Taste of Money (돈의 맛, 2012) — watch online on iFILM — is a sharp Korean drama directed by Im Sang-soo. Yeon-jak (Kim Kang-woo) works as the personal secretary to Lady Baek (Youn Yuh-jung), the steely matriarch behind one of Korea's most powerful corporate families. His actual duties are deliberately blurry: manage the husband's affairs, contain the scandals, ask no questions.
The closer Yeon-jak gets to the family's private machinery, the more the line between service and complicity dissolves. Sex, money, and power run in a closed loop at the top — and once you're inside, leaving is its own kind of trap.
