Synopsis
Christmas Waltz (2020) is a Hallmark holiday romance you can watch online on iFILM. Weeks before her storybook December wedding, Avery's whole carefully planned ceremony collapses when her fiancé calls it off out of the blue, leaving her tidy life plan in pieces.
Rather than stew in the hurt alone, Avery signs up at a ballroom dance studio and lands with Roman, an instructor who's reserved and a little guarded but endlessly patient. Lesson by lesson, from clumsy first steps to a real Viennese waltz, she pieces herself back together and figures out what she actually wanted all along. Lacey Chabert and Will Kemp play the pair gently, without melodrama, and since Kemp trained as a dancer, the waltzing here is the real thing.
The film comes from Michael Damian, a longtime director of Hallmark Christmas features. It delivers exactly what the genre promises: snow, string lights, music and a second shot at happiness — no pretensions, plenty of warmth. A solid pick for a night under a blanket by the tree.
