Synopsis

A chance event drags his past back into view, and the pull to know how his left-behind wife and children are doing grows stronger than his instinct to stay hidden. Joaquín Furriel plays a man who bought his freedom at the steepest possible price and isn't sure it was worth it.
Borensztein, who made the gentle comedy-drama Chinese Take-Away, again takes an awkward, cornered protagonist and tests his limits — only the tone here is harder and sadder. It's a quiet study of guilt, second chances and the cost of running from yourself. One for viewers who like character-driven South American drama with no loud effects.
