Where Am I Going?

Where Am I Going? (Quo vado?, 2016) is an Italian comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Gennaro Nunziante and built around comedian Checco Zalone, it turned into one of the biggest box-office hits Italy had ever seen.

Checco has the dream job: a permanent government post at the fish-and-game office, where he barely lifts a finger and lives off the perks. Then the ministry announces cuts and offers him a fat severance to leave quietly. He refuses. So his bosses start shipping the stubborn clerk to the grimmest postings they can find, hoping he'll quit on his own. The last stop is the North Pole, meant as punishment. It backfires.

The whole thing is a jab at Italy's devotion to the untouchable lifetime contract, pushed to cartoon levels. Loud, silly, occasionally sweet, it's the kind of broad family comedy that plays best with a crowd. Stream Where Am I Going? (2016) online on iFILM.
