Sally McNeil was a Marine and competitive bodybuilder whose physique was both her livelihood and, prosecutors argued, her weapon. Her marriage to fellow bodybuilder Ray curdled into a cycle of jealousy, steroids and violence, and on that holiday night it ended with him shot dead in their home. Across three episodes the story is reassembled from interviews with family, friends and Sally herself, speaking candidly from prison.
