Synopsis

Dani Boon plays a man who has organized his entire existence around spending nothing: skimping on food, heating, friends, even himself. Then a single day upends everything. François falls in love and learns he has a grown daughter he never knew about. To hide his shameful habit he starts lying, and for a tightwad, lies turn out to be very expensive indeed. Laurence Arné and Noémie Schmidt round out the cast. The humor stays gentle rather than mean — you laugh at the guy, then quietly root for him by the end.
