Synopsis
Not every princess waits to be rescued — sometimes she's the one doing the rescuing. That idea drives Ella and the Little Sorcerer (2021), a family animated film you can watch online on iFILM.
A nasty curse drops Prince Alex into the body of a mouse, and only a rare potion can turn him back. The trouble is, its ingredients are scattered across the far corners of a fairytale world. Ella doesn't sit around hoping for help: she rounds up a band of loyal friends and hits the road, where every step tests her nerve. Along the way they learn something plain but true — friendship mends what magic can't.
The feature is directed by Alice Blehart, a US and China co-production. A breezy 86 minutes with a gentle moral and a heroine who takes charge herself. A solid pick for a family movie night with the kids, especially if you like fairy tales where the princess saves the prince instead of the other way around.
