Synopsis

Valeria is seventeen and pregnant in Puerto Vallarta, living with her half-sister Clara and keeping her mother at a distance. Then Clara calls. Their mother Abril arrives from Mexico City ready to help — and she does help, methodically and completely, until the baby is born, the adoption is signed, the boyfriend is gone, and Abril is back in Mexico City with all three. It happens fast. Nothing was taken by force.
Emma Suárez plays Abril as a woman who loves genuinely and controls absolutely. Ana Valeria Becerril holds the film together as Valeria.
