Synopsis
Two Pianos (Deux Pianos, 2025) is a French musical drama you can watch online on iFILM, written and directed by Arnaud Desplechin and running 115 minutes. Pianist Mathias Vogler returns to France after years away to rehearse a concert alongside his mentor Elena, played by Charlotte Rampling.
A child glimpsed in a park stops him cold — the resemblance is too precise to ignore. That chance encounter pulls Mathias toward Claude, a woman from his past he never quite finished loving. Nadia Tereshkevich plays Claude; Sibylle Fraisse takes the lead as Mathias. Music in Desplechin's hands is never ornamental: it's the thing the characters reach for when words run out.
