Synopsis
Six Degrees of Celebration 8 (Yolki 8, 2021) is a Russian holiday comedy you can watch online on iFILM. The eighth chapter of the hit New Year anthology again weaves together short stories from cities all over the country.
In Saransk, Zhenya throws a party to pull a gloomy friend back to life — even a passed-out Ded Moroz won't stop him. In Tyumen, Yulia fights to launch the thermal-spa season; in Yekaterinburg, a gamer named Fedya finally grows up; in Ufa, an event planner has one day to pull off an oligarch wife's wild scheme; in Perm, Ksyusha plots revenge on an ex. As always, the separate threads tie together by midnight.
The franchise has run since 2010 on a formula it never abandons: interlocking lives, a warm payoff and that familiar voice-over duo. Daria Moroz, Anna Chipovskaya and Nikita Efremov fill out the cast, while Konstantin Khabensky, Ivan Urgant and Sergey Svetlakov keep the holiday mood going. Light, cozy New Year viewing.
