Synopsis
It Could Happen to You (1994) is a New York romance you can watch online on iFILM, with Nicolas Cage and Bridget Fonda. Cop Charlie Lang is short on cash for a tip, so he promises waitress Yvonne half of his lottery ticket instead. The ticket hits. Four million dollars.
Charlie actually keeps that promise and splits the money with her, which sends his wife Muriel into a fury. She wanted every dollar. What follows is a tug-of-war between a decent man and a spouse willing to scheme, sue and lie her way to the other half. Rosie Perez plays Muriel's greed for laughs rather than menace, and Cage gives Charlie a gentle, almost saintly calm.
