The Quintessential Quintuplets (五等分の花嫁, 2019) is a Japanese anime you can watch online on iFILM. Broke honor student Fuutarou Uesugi grabs a tutoring job to make some money, only to find his pupils are five wealthy identical twin sisters who all loathe schoolwork.

The Nakano quintuplets — Ichika, Nino, Miku, Yotsuba and Itsuki — look the same and behave like opposites, from a lazy aspiring actress to a prickly holdout who treats every newcomer as an enemy. Fuutarou's job isn't only to drag them toward graduation; he has to earn each girl's trust separately first. From day one they sabotage his lessons, and an ordinary school year turns into a run of awkward standoffs, arguments and slow, wary closeness. The prologue sets the frame: one sister will eventually become his bride, though the show keeps her identity hidden.

Adapted from Negi Haruba's manga, with this first season produced by Tezuka Productions. Unlike the dozens of interchangeable harem shows, the suspense here is built fair — you know the wedding is coming but not the bride, so the whole season plays like a gentle mystery about feelings.
