Justice League: War

Justice League: War (2014) is a DC animated action film you can watch online on iFILM. An invading armada from the world of Apokolips, led by the tyrant Darkseid, descends on Earth, and a handful of heroes who'd rather operate solo are forced to team up for the first time.

The lineup pulls together Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, Shazam and rookie Cyborg. Early on they can barely stand each other: Batman trusts no one, Green Lantern keeps trying to give orders, and Wonder Woman is meeting the human world cold. Adapted from the New 52 comic Justice League: Origin, it shows how these clashing loners became a unit while Darkseid's Parademons swarm the streets and the city goes up in flames.

Director Jay Oliva keeps it lean and fast across a tight 79 minutes, full of snarky banter and a sharp, angular art style.
