Synopsis
Goblin Slayer (2018) is a dark fantasy anime you can watch online on iFILM. A young priestess takes her very first quest to clear a goblin nest and watches her party get torn apart almost at once.
The man who pulls her out wears full armor and goes by one name at the guild: Goblin Slayer. He ignores dragons and demon lords. He hunts only goblins, coldly and thoroughly, because they slaughtered his village long ago. The priestess stays at his side, and a crew slowly forms around him: a High Elf archer, a dwarf spellcaster, a lizardman priest. The opening episode sets a brutal tone fast.
Animated by White Fox from Kumo Kagyu's light novels, the show stands apart from heroic fantasy with a grounded, almost tabletop sense of danger where even a small enemy can kill you.
