Synopsis
Sealab 2021 (2000), Season 1 — watch online on iFILM, all ten episodes of a short, gleefully dumb animated comedy set on a deep-sea station no one bothers to run.
A year after the noble Sealab 2020, the science has fully collapsed. Captain Murphy launches a pirate radio show out of boredom, sends the crew hunting for a missing cupcake oven, and gets himself pinned under a soda machine. Episodes barely connect to each other. An invisible monster eats the staff in one; pirated cable traps two guys in a fifteen-minute time loop in another. Plot is the excuse, not the point. The point is the absurdity, the pitch-black gags, and the cheerful way the whole station blows up at the end of so many episodes.
This is early Adam Reed and Matt Thompson, the team that later made Archer, and the comic voice is already there. Eleven-minute chunks, zero solemnity, perfect for a no-commitment evening. Stream Sealab 2021 Season 1 online on iFILM.

A flesh-eating invisible monster has invaded the Sealab and is killing everyone. The crew tries to lure it into a trap by having Dolphin Boy wear a life-jacket made of meat.

While lounging in the pool, Dr. Quinn is repeatedly electrocuted by Stormy throwing various devices into the water. Quinn's resulting hallucinations are strangely hysterical.

Murphy is stuck under a soda machine. To make matters worse, everyone else is out at a concert and can't help him! To make matters worse still, who should happen upon poor, defenseless Murphy but an angry scorpion and a tooth-collecting maintenance robot?
