Nicole's return to AAU makes life more difficult for Cara as Dom's delight at being given a difficult case turns bad when dealing with a difficult patient.

Jac returns to work on Darwin leading to a battle with Guy over his plans as Morven and Arthur end up clashing over a patient.

Zosia fears that her days on Darwin may be numbered as she tries to impress Jac as Arthur tries to rekindle his friendship with Morven.

Jesse has no choice but to relive some tragic events as he attempts to help the seriously ill sister of a former patient.

Fran steps up her manoeuvres against Jac and after she raises the possibility of a formal complaint from a patient's sister, Hanssen has to take it seriously.

Fran returns to the hospital and takes some drastic action to try and get Jac's attention.

It looks like Serena is going to spend another New Year's Eve alone but after some revellers at a gig are attacked, fate brings more than just a few casualties onto the hospital.

Ric is dispatched by Hanssen to deal with the estranged wife of the local MP - the feisty, French Francoise. Will Ric allow himself to succumb to her Gallic charms?

Mr T comes to Mo's rescue when she fears for her baby's life. Bernie makes a big decision about her future with Serena when an exciting opportunity arises. A big step in his relationship with Isaac puts Dom's friendship with Zosia at risk.

An accident in rehab sets back Fletch's recovery, but it's his attitude that proves the biggest obstacle. Can he beat the doom and gloom before pushing away those who are trying to help him? Isaac wants to impress Ric and Dom wants to impress Isaac, but when Dom sidelines his own success to help make Isaac look good they both wind up in trouble. Mo tries to befriend Inga in light of her new role as best man. Her attempts prove futile when she puts her foot in her mouth repeatedly and winds up covered in wee, having made an enemy out of Inga instead.
