The film splits in two. The first half locks the audience in a colonial New England village where mass hysteria kills faster than any monster — plague-doctor iconography, torchlit accusations, neighbors turned executioners. Then the timeline snaps back to 1994, where Deena and her friends use the truth they've uncovered to take on the actual source of the evil head-on. Olivia Scott Welch, Sadie Sink, and Ashley Zukerman are all back for the payoff.
