The rule is simple and insane: if his heart rate drops, the poison wins. So he cannot slow down. Chev steals cars, picks fights, swallows anything that spikes a pulse, and tears across Los Angeles to keep the adrenaline pumping. He has about an hour to track down an antidote and settle the score with the men who set him up. Along the way he tries to protect his girlfriend Eve, who has no idea what her boyfriend really does for a living.
