Synopsis
The End of the F***ing World is a British dark comedy series from Channel 4 you can watch online on iFILM. Two seasons, sixteen episodes, adapted from Charles Forsman's 2013 graphic novel.
James is seventeen and has quietly decided he's a psychopath. He picks Alyssa — the sharp-tongued new girl at school — as his first target. She drags him onto a road trip across England to track down the father she's never met. James goes along for his own reasons. Then things stop going to plan for either of them. Alex Lawther and Jessica Barden carry the whole show almost wordlessly; whole scenes play out in silence and loaded glances.
The series earned a BAFTA nomination and a second season before most viewers had caught the first. The humour cuts without warning. Episodes end mid-breath. Stream both seasons of The End of the F***ing World (2017) online on iFILM.
