Synopsis
Bride Wars (2009) is Gary Winick's romantic comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Emma and Liv have been best friends since childhood, and both dream of a wedding at New York's Plaza Hotel. The trouble starts when an assistant books both ceremonies for the very same day.
Neither will budge. Kate Hudson plays pushy, used-to-winning Liv; Anne Hathaway is gentle schoolteacher Emma, who turns out to have a fighter hiding inside. The two declare war with the altar in sight: a sabotaged spray tan, a dyed-blue wedding dress, invitations sent to all the wrong people. The closer the big day gets, the less of their old friendship survives the feud, and the funnier it looks from the outside.
It runs a breezy ninety minutes, and under the glossy bridal nonsense sits a simpler question: which matters more, the perfect day or the person who stood beside you for twenty years.
