Synopsis
The Princess Switch (2018) is a Netflix Christmas romantic comedy you can watch online on iFILM. A Chicago baker named Stacy travels to the fictional European kingdom of Belgravia for a holiday baking competition and runs into Duchess Margaret — her exact double. The setup practically runs itself from there.
Vanessa Hudgens plays both women. Margaret is days away from marrying Prince Edward (Sam Palladio) and desperate for a taste of ordinary life. Stacy, still getting over a breakup, agrees to swap places for a few days. Somewhere between the carol concerts and the royal kitchen, feelings for the wrong person start to complicate the arrangement. Director Michael Rohl keeps the film brisk and cheerful, with a healthy dose of seasonal snow and a small mysterious stranger who may or may not work for Santa.
