Murdoch Mysteries is a Canadian detective series you can watch online on iFILM. CBC Television has been airing it since January 2008, and it's still running — 19 seasons, 330 episodes and counting. Produced by Shaftesbury Films, based on the novels by Maureen Jennings.

Toronto, the 1890s. Detective William Murdoch closes cases that stump everyone else — fingerprints, chemical tests, early photography, methods that barely had names yet. Yannick Bisson plays Murdoch as a quiet, precise man who treats a crime scene like a puzzle he's committed to solving correctly. Beside him, Dr. Julia Ogden (Helene Joy) performs autopsies and fights for her findings in a world that keeps telling her to step aside. Chief Constable Brackenreid barks orders and secretly trusts Murdoch completely. Constable Crabtree asks too many questions and somehow always helps.
