Olympic wrestler Mark Schultz (Channing Tatum) lives in the shadow of his older brother Dave (Mark Ruffalo), scraping by on small paychecks. Then chemical heir John du Pont invites him onto a sprawling estate to train for Seoul 1988 under the Foxcatcher banner. At first it feels like everything Mark wanted. But behind the money and the praise sits a man who craves control over an athlete more than any medal.
