The man calling himself Lucas Hood just got out of prison. He steps off the bus into Banshee, finds his old partner-in-crime Carrie (Ivana Miličević) living a double life as a deputy's wife, and decides to stay. The town has its own lawless ecosystem — an Amish patriarch turned crime boss named Kai Proctor (Ulrich Thomsen), a Native American casino operation, and a bar run by ex-con Sugar Bates (Frankie Faison). Hood's hacker accomplice Job (Hoon Lee) lurks in the background, ready for the next score. Antony Starr plays the lead with a coiled intensity that keeps every scene on edge.
