Feel the Beat

Feel the Beat (2020) is a family dance comedy from Netflix that you can watch online on iFILM. April had her sights set on Broadway, but a disastrous audition torches her reputation in a single afternoon and shuts every stage door in New York. With nowhere left to go, she heads back to the small town she once couldn't wait to leave.

There an old friend talks her into coaching a ragtag squad of young dancers for a major competition. The girls are nothing like polished pros, and April, played by Sofia Carson, first sees them as little more than a ticket back to the city. From there the film follows the genre's familiar beats: rehearsals, fallouts, an awkward romance and a self-absorbed star slowly learning to mentor.
