The Voice is NBC's flagship singing competition — watch all seasons online on iFILM. The show launched in April 2011 and by its 29th season had aired nearly 700 episodes, making it one of the longest-running vocal contests on American television.

The format flips the usual audition script: coaches sit with their backs to the stage and press a button only if a voice earns it — no looks, no package, just the sound. Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, and John Legend have all taken a chair over the years. Once teams are set, singers face off in battle rounds, then knockouts, before the live shows open up the vote to the public. Carson Daly has hosted every episode since day one. The show was developed by Dutch company Talpa Media and produced in the US by Mark Burnett Productions and Warner Horizon Television.
