First Knight

First Knight (1995) is Jerry Zucker's sweeping Arthurian romance, and you can watch online on iFILM. It retells the Camelot legend as a love triangle: the wandering swordsman Lancelot (Richard Gere), the aging King Arthur (Sean Connery), and Guinevere (Julia Ormond), caught between them.

Lancelot drifts into Camelot with plenty of nerve and very little honor, a loner who lives by his blade. Then he meets Guinevere, Arthur's bride-to-be, and everything shifts. She is devoted to the king and his ideals, even as the renegade knight Malagant (Ben Cross) lays siege to her homeland. Lancelot is forced to choose between loyalty to the throne and a love that has no place at court.

Zucker skips the sorcery entirely. No Merlin, no Grail, no spells, just three people, real stakes and some genuinely large-scale castle battles.
