Synopsis
Moonrise Kingdom (2012) is Wes Anderson's coming-of-age comedy you can watch online on iFILM. It unfolds over a single summer in 1965 on a fictional island off New England.
Sam, an orphaned Khaki Scout nobody wants, and Suzy, a bookish girl prone to outbursts, spend a year trading letters before they agree to vanish together. He slips out of camp with a canoe and a compass; she packs a suitcase of stolen library books, her cat, and a record player. They pitch a tent in a hidden cove and rename it Moonrise Kingdom. Meanwhile half the adults give chase: the island cop (Bruce Willis), Suzy's lawyer parents (Bill Murray and Frances McDormand), a rattled scoutmaster (Edward Norton), and a Social Services officer played by Tilda Swinton. A hurricane is closing in.
