Hit Man (2024) — watch online on iFILM this slick crime comedy directed by Richard Linklater. Glen Powell plays Gary Johnson, a mild-mannered philosophy professor moonlighting as a police surveillance tech who accidentally becomes the department's most convincing fake hitman.

Gary has two cats, reads Nietzsche, and is nobody's idea of dangerous. But when the regular undercover operative is suspended, Gary steps in — and turns out to be astonishingly good at becoming whoever the client needs a killer to be. Each sting operation gets a new persona. At one of them, he meets Madison (Adria Arjona), who wants her husband gone. Gary doesn't arrest her. He wants to talk her out of it. Then back into his life. Then the situation gets genuinely complicated.
