Lost in Beijing

Lost in Beijing (苹果, 2007) is a Chinese-French drama directed by Li Yu — watch it online on iFILM. Fan Bingbing plays Pingguo, a young massage worker at an upscale Beijing parlor owned by the wealthy Lin Dong, played by Tony Leung Ka-fai. After Lin Dong assaults her, her husband An Kun — a window washer on the city's high-rises, played by Tong Dawei — happens to witness it.

An Kun sees an opportunity. Rather than going to the police, he starts pressing Lin Dong for money. Lin's wife Wang Mei, played by Elaine Jin Yan-Ling, is soon pulled into a tense four-way standoff where class, shame and money quietly corrode every relationship.
