The Last Voyage of the Demeter

The Last Voyage of the Demeter (2023) is a horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Director André Øvredal adapted the most chilling chapter of Bram Stoker's novel — the log of a doomed cargo ship — into a standalone sea-bound creature feature. The Demeter sets sail from Carpathia bound for London. The manifest lists nothing but wooden crates packed with Transylvanian soil.

Crew members start vanishing before the ship clears the harbor. Ship's doctor Clemens (Corey Hawkins) and a half-dead woman discovered below deck (Aisling Franciosi) piece together what hunts the vessel after dark. Captain Eliot (Liam Cunningham) refuses to name what he has seen. There is no land within reach, no way off, and the nights grow longer.
