The Incredibles

The Incredibles (2004) is Pixar's action-packed animated film you can watch online on iFILM. Director Brad Bird built a world where superheroes were sued into retirement — too much collateral damage, too many lawsuits. Bob Parr, once known as Mr. Incredible, now works a desk job at an insurance company, straining against a shirt that no longer quite fits. His wife Helen — formerly Elastigirl — keeps the kids in line and the family's abilities carefully hidden from the neighbors.

Bob can't stay retired. A mysterious offer pulls him back into action on a remote tropical island, a secret mission he tries to keep from the family. Predictably, the family follows. Craig T. Nelson voices Bob, Holly Hunter plays Helen, Jason Lee is Syndrome — a fan-turned-villain with a grudge — and Samuel L. Jackson rounds out the ensemble as the effortlessly cool Frozone. Bird also wrote the script, packing it with as much material about midlife crisis and suburban frustration as about explosions and escapes.
