Synopsis
American Pie (1999) is a landmark teen comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Paul Weitz made it for Universal Pictures on an $11 million budget; it earned over $235 million at the box office and launched a franchise that is still running today.
Four high-school seniors make a pact: lose their virginity before prom night. Jim (Jason Biggs) keeps spectacularly embarrassing himself in front of an exchange student from the Czech Republic. Oz (Chris Klein) joins an a cappella choir to impress a girl. Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas) pays a classmate to spread rumors about him. The obnoxious Stifler (Seann William Scott) mostly just gets in everyone's way. And quiet band-nerd Michelle (Alyson Hannigan) turns out to be the last person any of them expected. Eugene Levy as Jim's painfully earnest dad and Jennifer Coolidge as Stifler's mom round out a cast that became genuinely iconic.
