John Matthews owns a construction firm. His son Jason gets busted on a drug charge a friend set him up for, and mandatory minimum laws mean a decade behind bars for a first offense. So John cuts a deal with the DEA: he'll go undercover, infiltrate a cartel, and deliver a bigger arrest in exchange for his boy's freedom. A man who has never fired a gun ends up driving cocaine across state lines, where one wrong word gets him killed.
